1,4-Dioxane is widely used as a solvent for various applications, mainly in the manufacturing sector. It is a stable reaction medium solvent in chemical synthesis, research and analysis in the laboratory. It is also used as a liquid scintillation counting medium, stabilizer, corrosion inhibitor, wetting and dispersing agent.
2-ethylhexanoic acid has uses in plasticizers, automotive coolants, biodegradable, synthetic lubricants, metal soaps for paint driers and PVC stabilizers. It can be used as functional products intermediate, wetting agent in emulsions, cosolvent and defoamer in pesticides. Further applications include timber industry or the pharmaceutical sector.
4-Nitrophenol is a chemical used to manufacture drugs, agrochemicals, dyestuffs. It has the application as a pH indicator in analytical chemistry.
