Dibutylamine is used in the production of pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals. There are lots of applications as chemical intermediates, e.g. corrosion inhibitors, emulsifiers, dyes, photographic chemicals, plasticizers, additives for fuels and lubricants, flotation agents, rubber vulcanization accelerators, catalysts for polyurethane resins.
Diethylamine is used in corrosion inhibiting formulations, production of rubber, resins, textile emulsions, pesticides, dyes and pharmaceuticals. It also finds applications in petroleum industry. It can be used as a flotation agent and as a selective solvent for the removal of impurities from oils, fats and waxes.
